Duyan Guesthouse Book

Rest like you mean it.

Six quiet rooms under the coconut trees, breakfast from the garden, and a hammock with your name on it.

A wooden guest room in warm morning light, glass-paned doors opening onto green trees

The rooms

Two kinds, both with good beds, real pillows, and windows that open. Rates are per night, for the room.

A bedroom with a low platform bed and full-height windows looking into dense garden plants

Garden Room

₱1,200 a night

  • One double bed, fan-cooled
  • Cold shower, own bathroom
  • Window into the garden
A bed with a woven rattan headboard and patterned pillows beside a bright window

Family Room

₱2,000 a night

  • One double and one single bed, aircon
  • Hot shower, own bathroom
  • Door straight onto the veranda

Mornings start in the garden

Breakfast comes with the room: fruit from the yard, eggs, rice or bread, and strong local coffee. Eat on the veranda, take your time. Nobody hurries here.

Duyan is Bisaya for hammock. Ours hangs at the end of the veranda, and it is the reason guests miss their ferries.

A wooden table outdoors set with bread, fruit, juice and coffee in orange dishes
A woven hammock hanging on a wooden veranda, palm trees and hills beyond the rail
The duyan itself. First come, first swung.

How to find us

Barangay Maite, San Juan, Siquijor

From the San Juan plaza, take a tricycle toward the sea and ask for the yellow gate past the elementary school. Ten minutes, more or less. Coming from the port in Siquijor town, the ride is about half an hour.
